Dutch-born Ghanaian centre-back Derrick Luckassen has clinched his first league title with PSV Eindhoven following their goalless draw with FC Groningen over the weekend.
Luckassen joined PSV on a five-year deal at the start of the season from AZ Alkmaar.
The 22-year-old initially struggled to break into the team as he was used sparingly by coach Philip Cocu.
And on the final day of the season against FC Groningen, the versatile guardsman was deployed at the heart of defence alongside Daniel Schwaab and he excelled as the game ended goalless.
Luckassen made 10 appearances for the Philip Stadion outfit in their league title triumph season.
