Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie enjoyed playing minutes for Genoa in their mid-season friendly match against French side AS Monaco.
The 26-year-old enforcer, who has been battling with niggling injuries in the ongoing, was given a game time during their 4-1 loss to French champions AS Monaco as part of his recovery process.
The former Chievo Verona midfielder has failed to play any competitive match for the Rossoblu since making a cameo appearance in their 1-0 win over Benevento Calcio last year December.
The inclusion of the Ghanaian in the match suggests he is back in the plans of Coach Davide Balladini ahead of their Sunday's clash against Spal in the Serie A.
Genoa are sitting 13th on the Italian Serie A league log with 30 points after 28 round of matches.
