Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen says striker Caleb Ekuban is a fortnight away from resuming training with the team.
The Ghanaian forward underwent a surgery after breaking a bone in his foot during the side's 2-0 win at Sunderland on August 19.
Speaking ahead of their Week 30 clash against Cardiff City, manager Christiansen disclosed the 23-year-old hitman is making progress in his recovery and expects him to join his team-mates in two weeks time.
Christiansen said: “In 10 to 14 days he will be back. “He was playing well until he got injured and I believe I can expect the same from him.”
Ekuban joined the Yorkshire Club prior to the campaign for £500,000 from Italian Serie A outfit Chievo Verona but injuries has limited his game time for the side, having made just seven appearances and registered one goal.
