Highly-rated Ghanaian teenager Arvin Appiah has signed a professional contract with Nottingham Forest which runs until 2020.
The speedy forward has been rewarded for his fine performance after signing the dotted lines.
He has featured for the side's Under 18 and 23 squads, prompting the English side to tie him down on a permanent basis.
The 17-year-old featured for the side in their win over Leicester City in the FA Youth Cup and will also be in action when they take on Blackburn in the fifth round of the competition.
The product of the Nigel Doughty Academy was a regular in the under-16 side previously and has three goals to his name at under-23 level.
Appiah also recently became the latest Forest player to be called up to the England under-17 side and is regarded as a hugely bright prospect at the City Ground, where a clutch of academy products are already involved in Aitor Karanka’s senior squad.
