Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has donated cash and cartons of energy drinks to his former club Cape Coast Venomous Vipers ahead of their Division Two middle-League Play-offs.
The generous gesture was made to the third-tier side at their training grounds in a bid to enliven them ahead of the upcoming Division Two middle-League which starts on Sunday.
Items received by the Cape-Coast-based outfit include Mineral water, carton of drinks and an undisclosed cash amount, and he promised them a more sumptuous package should they secure the ticket to Division One.
The donation was made by Abdul Razak on behalf of the Al Qadsia guardsman.
Sumaila helped Al Qadsia spank Al Tadamon 5-1 in the Kuwaiti VIVA League on Friday.
