Ghana youth striker Emmanuel Boateng scored his first goal for Levante in their 2-0 win at Girona in the Copa del Rey third round of 32 first leg on Thursday night.
The 21-year-old gave the Spanish La Liga side the lead on 40 minutes when he sublimely slotted past the goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Boateng could not afford to miss after receiving a perfect assist from José Luis Morales.
Ivorian Cheick Doukoure added the second in the 62nd minute.
The return leg will be played on 29 November, 2017.
