Ghana's WAFU heroes receive multiple foreign offers

Ghana's WAFU Cup of Nations stars are on their way out of the country, coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed.

Top performers like Isaac Twum, Vincent Atingah, Winful Cobbinah, Gideon Waja and Patrick Razak have received multiple offers abroad.

Kotoko defender Amos Frimpong, Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Sarfo and Hearts of Oak star Thomas Abbey are also closing in on separate moves abroad.

Already Dreams FC midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has secured a one-year deal with Spanish side Extremadura UD.

And coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed his players are on their way out of the country.

“Already most of the players are on their way out, yes there have been offers for most of the boys,” Maxwell Konadu said on Metro TV’s Sports file.

“This WAFU has helped the players a lot, in fact it was a very good platform for these guys.”
