Columbus Crew defender Lalas Abubakar has expressed gratitude to his teammates after his MLS Team of the Week nomination.
The centre-back was influential for the Black and Gold in their 3-1 win over Chicago Fire on Saturday.
Abubakar was making his fourth league appearance for Columbus Crew this season.
The 22-year-old paired countryman Jonathan Mensah at the back and that worked perfectly for the Black and Gold.
He Tweeted later: ''Glory be to the Almighty Allah🙏 and a shout out to my Teammates as well.''
