Slovenia giants NK Olympija have announced the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau on a two-year deal.
Apau, 27, joins from Belgian outfit Westerlo where he impressed in 64 appearances for the Dragons.
The experienced right-back is expected to be key for manager Igo Biscan's side as they attempt to wrestle the league title from Nogometna Klub Maribor in the upcoming season.
“People in Ljubljana are friendly, they speak English, so I believe that I will get involved quickly. I have trained well, even in Olympia, the conditions for work are excellent,” he said
“I believe I’m good on the ball. I hope to show this to Olimpija fans.
He joins Ghanaian compatriots Issah Abass and Kingsley Boateng who are on the roaster of the Slovenian side.
