Big spending Chinese side Tianjing Taida is closing in on a sensational deal to snatch Anderlecht’s Frank Acheampong in a move that could make him the highest earning Ghanaian.
Acheampong one of the top performers for Anderlecht last season has been courted by several clubs in Europe but a reported $ 250,000 deal a month has turned his head back to Asia.
According to reports in the China Acheampong could seal the deal in the coming weeks after agreeing personal terms with Taida already.
His agent Oliver Arthur is keeping the deal close to his chest but with the deal almost through the club has leaked it to the media to test the waters before his arrival.
Acheampong recently claimed he has put his dream of moving to England on a hold- signaling the imminent departure to fast developing Chinese league.
