Defender Rashid Sumaila to make a return to the training pitch this week after recovering from an ankle injury he sustained in Ghana's friendly match against USA last month.
Sumaila, 24, has been on the treatment table since he picked up an ankle injury in the Black Stars 2-1 loss to USA in an international friendly on July 1 following a clash with Unites States winger Tom Dwyer just 30 minutes on the clock.
The former Asante Kotoko guardsman is expected to regain full fitness in two weeks time before joining his teammates at Al Qadsia for preseason training ahead of the Kuwaiti season.
Sumaila spent last season on loan at Qatari side Al Gharafa and quickly became a linchpin of the team following his impressive display, where he scored four goals in 21 appearances.
