Turkey-based defender Jerry Akaminko is delighted to represent Ghana again after a career-threatening injury.
The 28-year-old returned to the Black Stars squad as they lost 2-1 against USA in an international friendly last Saturday.
Akaminko, who plays for Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor, was recalled by coach Kwesi Appiah after a three-year injury induced absence.
And the towering centre-back is thrilled to have returned to the international fold after the injury scare.
