Ghana 2nd deputy coach Maxwell Konadu was happy with the Black Stars B’s 1-1 stalemate with Uncle T Stars FC in a friendly played at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram on Tuesday.
A brilliant strike from in-form Tema Youth star Joseph Paintsil under five minutes was cancelled in the 35th minute by Jonas Teye in a fiercely contested game.
And the tactician is contempt with the results of the game, insisting it will strengthen his side.
“It was a very good game for us and I am personally happy. We played well at the beginning of the game and they came in very strongly after our opener to equalise. They really made things difficult for us and that made me happier,” Maxwell told GHANAsoccernet.com
“We have been winning all our friendly matches so I wanted the challenge to see how the boys will react. And from what I saw, we are learning,” he added.
The stalemate with Uncle T on Tuesday was the second time the Black Stars B have drawn a game in eight matches, winning 6 and losing none.
The side is preparing for the CHAN qualifier with Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou next month.
