Vincent Atinga is Hearts of Oak's FERO player of the month of May

Following his magnificent performance for the club in the month of May, Vincent Atinga has been voted as Hearts of Oak's FERO player of the month.

Atinga beat off competition from Kwame Kizito and Thomas Abbey to pick the maiden edition of the player of the month award.

For his prize, the hardworking defebder took home a brand new sleek FERO Mobile Phone from sponsors of the award.

As a defender, Atinga scored twice in four matches for the Phobians in the month of May, making him an outstanding player for the period.

The in-form defender has been overly impressive for the Phobians this season after he stepped in regularly for the side following injuries to Robin Gnagbe and Inusah Musah.

Fero Mobile has signed an official deal with Hearts of Oak as sponsors of the player of the week and month.
