Ghana goalie Fatau Dauda would be a relieved man after visuals emerged that proved that he did not punch the ball boy in their premier League game against Katsina.
The 32-year-old is currently serving a one match suspension for the incident but with this new evidence it is likely that his club Enyimba will appeal the decision.
The former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was sanctioned by the League Management Company (LMC) for "aggression towards a ball boy" in his team's 1-2 defeat at Katsina United.
Fatau was charged for assaulting the ball boy and behaving in a manner capable of inciting violence at the game.
He has however declared his innocence and the new video evidence has proved that he had a tussle with the ball boy but did not punch him as being reported by some media houses.
