Aduana Stars failed to make capitalize on their outstanding fixture to leapfrog WAFA on the Ghana Premier League standings after being held to a goalless draw by Wa All Stars at home on Thursday.
With Sogakofe lads having played a game more than Aduana, there was a chance to leapfrog their main title rivals to the summit of the log.
However, Yusif Abubakar’s side failed to break down their opponents and their lack of threat up front was their downfall in the game.
The Ogya boys have now dropped five points in their last three league matches, having played out two pulsating draws with Liberty and WA All Stars, with their only win coming at the back of the 1-2 win against Great Olympics away to remain one point adrift of surprise leaders WAFA on the log.
They have been presented with another chance to make amends in their next game against Tema Youth in week 12 at their stomping ground Nana Agyemang Badu Park and hope WAFA stumble at home against Bolga All Stars on Sunday.
