Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew could be set for a substitute role in Swansea City's crucial game against West Ham in Saturday following the return of leading striker Fernando Llorente.
Leading scorer Fernando Llorente is due to return to the Swans line-up for Saturday's trip to West Ham, having missed their two matches since the international break with a niggling injury.
His replacement, Jordan Ayew, impressed in the disappointing 3-1 defeat to Spurs by setting up Wayne Routledge for the opening goal before the Welsh side were overrun by Mauricio Pochetitno's title-chasers.
"He (Llorente) has trained well in the last two days and we are hoping he is going to be okay for Saturday," Clement said.
"He wasn't ready to play tonight.
"I thought Ayew played really well. He worked really hard and he enabled us to press more at the right times because he is athletic. He can be satisfied with his performance."
The Swans, who dropped to 18th on the table, take on Ayew's brother Andre's West Ham in London on Saturday.
