Medeama SC head coach Evans Adotey says he is delighted with their 1-1 draw against Tema Youth on match day 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Mauves fell behind to a Michael Kpovie's 3rd minute strike but Benjamin Bature levelled the score line in the 63rd minute to earn them a vital away point.
The draw against Tema Youth was the Tarkwa-based side third consecutive draw but their coach Evans Adotey says, he is content with the results.
"Having watched how they play, their build up is swift therefore I had a plan to disrupt their flow that's the reason I put one of my attackers upfront and pack the midfield to attack on the counter," he told reporters.
"However, after we conceded I decided to change the strategy, so I pushed one player upfront to help Latif to make it two tops and that resulted in our equalizer."
"I cannot complain about the final results because we set out to pick either the maximum points or a point, and we got the latter so we're going back home very happy."
The draw further pushed Medeama down the log to position 14th with 8points after 9 games.
