Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have debunked reports linking Amed Toure to the club after his strong start to the league.
Reports went rife last week that, the Porcupine Warriors are trying to lure the in-form striker to the club following his magnificent start for Bechem United in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, where he has registered five goals in the 8-week old campaign.

The Burkinabe striker first joined Asante Kotoko in the 2005/06 season and helped the club to win the premier league title before leaving to join Belgian side Lokeren the following season.
He then returned to the club in the second round of 2011/12 season, where he finished the season with 12 goals, and won the Premier League Board (PLB) Player of the Season Award.
Toure left the Kumasi-based club afterwards only to return at the start of the 2014/15 season, and signed a three-year deal with the club but left acrimoniously just after his blistering start to the campaign.
