Free State Stars' striker Mohammed Anas has gone viral for his hilarious blunder that exposed his own womanising ways after thanking his wife and girlfriend live on television after a match in the South African top-flight.
The Ghanaian attacker delivered what has been widely described as delivering the 'best Man-of-the-Match speech of all-time' after scoring both goals for his team in a 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town.
Several top newspapers in the world, including the powerful UK newspapers the Sun, the Mirror and the Telegraph, have picked up on the faux pax.
Other newspapers in the USA and far flung places like Australia have all picked up in Mohammed's blunder exposing him to global ridicule.

After scoring two goals for his team in the 2-2 draw against Ajax Cape Town, making him Man of the Match, Anas begun his post-match interview by thanking God for his best performance.

Receiving his man of the match award he said, “Thank you for this, I appreciate my fans. My wife and my girlfriend… I mean my wife, sorry.”
He quickly realised his mistake, and moved swiftly to explain that he meant the former.
He appeared somehow embarrassed and couldn't solidly construct a sentence to finish his interview after this blunder.
Immediately after the clearly-accidental slip of the mind – and tongue – Anas backtracks in the most grovelling of ways, repeating over and over again how much he loves his wife.
