Netherlands-based striker Elvis Manu is still knocking on the doors for the Black Stars for a call up since switching nationality to become a Ghanaian.
Elvis who has hit top form and has been scoring magnificent goals of late for his new side Go Ahead Eagles played for the youth side of the Netherlands but switched to play for his native country.
The prolific striker is yet to be lucky to be handed a call up top don the national jersey despite his fine form.
The attacker scored in his team Go Ahead Eagles’ 1-3 home defeat to PSV in the Dutch Eredivisie on Saturday.
Manu rose to the occasion and got the consolation for his team by fetching the equaliser in the 48th minute after Siem de Jong had given PSV the lead.
Manu’s effort was not enough to rescue a point for the home team who still lie bottom of the League table with 20 points from 26 games.
Despite his team’s struggle in the Eredivise, he has been phenomenal scoring twice in their last three games.
