German outfit FC Heidenheim confirm ending premature loan deal for Ghanaian midfielder David Atanga
German second-tier side FC Heidenheim have confirmed parting ways with Ghanaian midfielder David Atanga by mutual consent.
The club ended a premature loan deal for the former Ghana youth midfielder after he failed to impress largely due to recurrent injuries.
Atanga could only make just four appearances for the side since he joined on loan from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
"David is a talented player, but unfortunately he was not able to get through as hoped for, and he had no time at all," said Holger Sanwald, CEO of the FCH.
