Accra, Dec 22, GNA - The Reverend Yaw Agyeman-Badu, the legendary gospel musician has urged Ghanaians to remember the goodness of the Lord in this Christmas Season and as the year runs to an end.
He said the Lord was good to the country over the year 2019 and was important for everyone to give Him due thanks.
He said this as he delivered his sermon titled "Remember how far God has brought you," at the Holy Ghost Assemblies of God Church, Ashaiman, Jericho on Sunday.
Rev YABS as he is popularly known said the peace enjoyed by Ghana was not common to other countries on the continent and across the globe.
He said abundance of food, security and the very life enjoyed by Ghanaians were all as a result of Gods divine grace and benevolence.
He said gone were the days, where people from abroad could easily be identified by their good looks, but now the case was different because citizens were equally resourced.
Rev. Thomas Henry Quamson, the host Minister in an interview with the Ghana News Agency after the service advised that people to tread cautiously during the Christmas festivities.
He said despite the Grace and protection of God, it was important for citizens to be law abiding and not allow the excitement and activities which accompanied Christmas to cause them to act out of control.
He sent his best wishes and love to the local congregation, the Ashaiman Districts, and the entire Assemblies of God Church, Ghana.
He also expressed his thanks to Rev YABS for honouring the invite of the church to preach and also minister at its annual Worship and Thanksgiving programme dubbed "perpetual praise" later in the day.
