Accra, Dec. 4, GNA - The Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants-Ghana (CIAMC-G) has inducted 203 administrators and management consultants into its membership.
Out of the number, 164 graduated as Chartered Professional Administrators (ChPA), while 39 graduated as both Chartered Management Consultant (CMC) and ChPA.
The Institute’s two-year programme train individuals in administration and consultancy to help solve crisis in institutions and professions.
The event was held under the theme: "Enhancing Professional Practice through Branding, Ethical Discipline and Networking."
Addressing the 18th graduation and induction ceremony of the CIAMC-G, a Management Consultant, Dr Charles Kwening, urged the graduates to champion the path of integrity, promote excellence and ensure professionalism in their practice.
“I encourage you all to stand tall, act firmly and hold strongly on ethical beliefs without wavering on issues of principles.”
Dr Kwening advised the graduands to build strong networks among themselves to enhance growth and successful management.
He said effective networking should be safeguarded by the value placed on branding and ethical discipline to enhance professional practice, adding that the successful development of graduands career revolves around branding, ethical discipline and networking.
Dr Kwening said brands are complex phenomenon, which penetrated almost every aspect of human life, including social, economic, cultural, sporting and even religion.
He urged the graduands to be courageous and steadfast to enable them work diligently to contribute to the development of the country.
He said ethical discipline was an essential tool to guard the graduands and it calls for moral reasoning as the foundation for ethical decision making.
"The capacity to engage in purposeful deliberation forms the building blocks and serves as an essential antecedent to ethical teaching and practice of CIAMC-G," Dr Kwening said.
Mr Paul Hammond, Board Chairman of the Institute, said the CIAMC programme is designed to raise the standards of professional practice in support of better business performance.
“We are positioning administration practice as a specialised field of study with substitute corporate and national decision making, in recognition of administration as a pivot of corporate success,” he said.
There were awards for corporate members, honorary members as well as dedicated members award.
