Accra, Dec. 1, GNA - Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service continue to battle a fire outbreak at the large taxpayer office of the Ghana Revenue Authority at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Accra.
Security personnel told the GNA upon arrival that they arrived at the scene in the early hours of the day after receiving a distress call.
Mr Amishadai Ofusu Asamoah, Acting Commissioner, GRA, said he could not immediately determine the extent of damage caused by the fire.
He however assured the public that the GRA had sufficient backup system to deal with the situation.
"All tax payers who require to do business with us can go to the office near the stadium at Kinbu, "he said.
The medium taxpayers will also be served at the Adabraka Small taxpayers office near the Adabraka Police Station, he said.
