Breman Asikuma (C/R) Nov. 25, GNA - Nana Ofosu Peko II, Safohene of Breman Asikuma, has donated assorted medical items valued at US$100,000 in support of the Our Lady of Grace Hospital and the Breman Asikuma Health Center.
These included wheelchairs and medical consumables.
Handing over the items at a ceremony at, Nana Safo, known in private life as Professor Daniel A. Wubah, said it was his contribution to efforts at ensuring effective running of the facilities – to provide quality care to the sick in the area.
He added that it was important for, particularly, people who had made it to accept to give back to society.
That was the way to go to make things better for everybody.
Nana Peko, who is the President Millersville University, asked the management of the two health facilities to use the items judiciously to serve the purpose, for which they were donated.
The Reverend Sister Edwje Gaba, who is in charge of Our Lady of Grace, receiving the gift, said they were grateful to the chief and pledged to use them to bring comfort to the sick.
