Koforidua, Nov. 8, GNA – Government has initiated an online skills training course for personnel of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO).
The aim of the course is to give the NABCO personnel the opportunities to acquire skills to be employed when they leave the NABCO programme.
The online course would be run by NABCO Skills and Talent Academy (NSTA) and graduates of the course would be issued with certificates after completion and passing of the required professional examination.
Speaking at an orientation workshop about the programme for personnel of the New Juaben South at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Mr Michael Adarkwa, New Juaben South Municipal Coordinator of the Corps, said all NABCO trainees were expected to sign-in with their NABCO identification numbers.
He said the programme was paid for by government.
Mr Adarkwa urged all NABCO personnel to take advantage of the opportunity, to acquire skills that could guarantee them jobs after leaving the NABCO programme.
