Accra, June 27, GNA - The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has sent good will messages to Richard Commey and Wasiru Mohamed, who will be defending their respective titles over the weekend.
Commey, would defend his International Boxing Federation (IBF) title against Ray Beltran in California, United States of America (USA) on Saturday, June 28, whilst Mohammed also known as “Gyatabi” takes on Tanzanian Loren Japhet at the Accra Sports Stadium, the same night for the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Global Super Bantamweight Title.
In a statement from the communications department of the GBA said they believe, the two pugilists and know what they can do on any good day.
“You are national heroes and the whole nation is behind you. As you enter the ring, enter without fear but with with vigour to win and well well for Ghana,” the statement said.
