As part of the visit, the ladies shared experiences on various career paths and donated assorted elective books to the school’s library.
A statement signed and copied to the Ghana News Agency by the EPLM said the gesture formed part of the Ministry’s efforts to reach out to the youth, especially the girl-child, in second cycle institutions to encourage and mentor them.
According to the statement, Mrs Mina Lassey, the Founder and President of EPLM, advised the students to consider some factors when choosing a career and emphasised the need for them to pray in all decision making.
She also encouraged them to work hard and not give up on their goals, adding that, with determination, consistency and a strong focus on God, they could achieve great results.
“As part of the activities undertaken to fulfil its mission and vision, EPLM extends love, care and support to youth especially the girl child and the less privileged in society,” the statement said.
Madam Dorothy Parker, the Assistant Headmistress and Mr Isaac Ofoi Tugbenyo, the Headmaster, who received the items thanked the Ministry for the love, kindness and support given to the students.
She called on other similar ministries and groups to also carry out similar or better steps to support students as a complement to the hard work of teachers.
EPLM is a non-denominational network of ladies who have come together to fellowship, share ideas and experiences to equip them to prosper, thrive and reach their full potentials in God.
The Ministry also seeks to raise women leaders to live in full submission to Christ as Lord, live, love, and leave a legacy by achieving their God-given potential, the statement said.
