ALGIERS, June 10, (Xinhua/GNA) - Algerian courts on Sunday summoned former Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia and former ministers for investigations into corruption charges that began a couple of months ago, the Algeria Press Service (APS) reported.
Ouyahia is now under investigations by the prosecutor of Sidi Amhamad Court in Algerian capital Algiers, APS said.
So far, there is no information about whether Ouyahia appeared as a suspect or a witness, it added.
Several former ministers and senior officials of the government investment agency as well as businessmen are expected to appear before the court on a case about granting concessions to an auto company owned by a business magnet in Algeria.
