Aiyinasi (W/R), June 10, GNA - Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has made two thousand Mathematical Sets available to candidates writing this year's BECE in the Ellembelle District.
The donation, which has become an annual ritual, formed part of the MP's commitment to promote good quality education delivery in the area.
Mr. Buah made the presentation when he toured some centres of the BECE with the District Chief Executive, Mr. Kwasi Bonzo and Director of Education, Mr. Peter Ackah Blay ahead of the examination which began on Monday morning.
Addressing the candidates in one of the centres at Aiyinasi, Mr. Buah said, "nobody ever thought that you would get here: therefore this is the biggest opportunity by making yourselves and your parents proud by coming out with flying colours"
The MP said, "my office is always ready to support you to further your education to the tertiary level so try your best to attain good results and I know-how you will not disappoint me".
Mr. Buah advised the candidates not to panic, but read through thoroughly and grasp the demands of the questions before answering them.
He cautioned them against examination malpractices and wished them well.
The candidates numbering 1,857 were full of joy to their MP adding that the Mathematical Sets would go a long way to aid their examination and for preparing them through Mock examination sponsorship.
