Oktatakyie Okofo Nyarku Eku X noted that Dr Bawumia's inspirational performance in the past two years had vindicated his selection as the running mate to the then Candidate Nana Akufo-Addo for the 2016 Elections.
Okatakyie Eku showered those praises on Vice President Bawumia when he paid a courtesy call on him at his palace at Agona Nyarkrom.
The visit formed part of Vice President Bawumia's Ramadan nationwide tour.
Okatakyie Eku said: “I knew your father, I know you and I know your brothers. I know what you are capable of doing. President Akufo-Addo could not have made a better choice, and truly, you are delivering.
"May the Almighty continue to bless you and President Akufo-Addo as you do your best to develop Ghana".
Earlier, Vice President Bawumia joined Muslim faithful to pray at the Nyarkrom Mosque.
Dr Bawumia would continue his Ramadan tour to some communities in the Western and Western North regions during the Second Phase.
The Vice President was accompanied by the Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid; Minister of State at the Office of the Vice President, Mr Boniface Abubakar Saddique; Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan; MP for Agona West and Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Mrs Cynthia Morrison; NPP National Chairman Freddie Blay; Central Regional NPP Chairman Robert Kutin Junior and some government officials.
