Accra, April 28, GNA - The World Map recording label last Saturday, paid a courtesy call on the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, at his Fadama residence in Accra.
Led by Mr. Frank Gogo, Chief Executive Officer of World Map Record label, the delegation included legendary highlife musician, K.K. Fosu and fast rising afro-pop artistes JC and Pacy Mordey.
The purpose of the visit, was to join the Chief Imam to celebrate his 100th birth anniversary, which was marked last Tuesday.
In his interaction with the celebrated religious Leader, Mr. Gogo said, "It was my dream to personally meet you and ask of your blessing upon myself, the record label as well as my artistes and I thank God for making it possible today.
''I pray you continue to live long and continue blessing the nation with your wisdom and significant contributions towards the development of our dear nation.
''May Allah continue to grant you good health, more wisdom and more blessings," he said.
The National Chief Imam was elated about the visit by the group and prayed for them to thrive in all their endeavours and make them a successful firm.
World Map records is one of the fastest growing recording companies in the country as the seek to take Ghanaian showbiz to another level.
