Accra March 12, GNA – Th Management of Ethiopian Airlines says it has recovered the Digital Flight Data Recorder (DFDR) and Cockpit Voice of the crashed ET 302.
A statement issued in Accra by the Airline said this was after tedious search by the rescue and investigation team for the black box of the 737- Max 8 plane that crashed near the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, minutes after take-off on Sunday morning, March 10.
Meanwhile, the Ethiopian Airlines Group suspended the commercial operations of all Boeing 737-Max 8 aircrafts immediately after the tragic accident.
The statement said Ethiopian had continued monitoring the situation closely with all stakeholders and was providing all the necessary support to the families of the deceased in its temporarily established Family Assistance Centres in Addis Ababa and Nairobi Airports.
