Zaare (U/E), March 12, GNA - Bishop Bismark Anafo, Head Pastor of the Miracle Calvary Assemblies of God Church at Zaare, a suburb of Bolgatanga, has called on Christians to take their prayer lives seriously.
He said many Christians only pray when they find themselves confronted with challenges and this does not enhance the cordial the relation between man and God.
He called on Christians to pray without ceasing adding that great things happen in the lives of many Christians through prayers.
“Prayer should be a lifestyle of any believer or individuals, it should not be once a while, it should not be somehow or when you feel like praying, but prayer should be everyday affair,” he said.
Bishop Anafo gave the advice on Sunday when he delivered a sermon under the theme: “Prayer is the master”.
The Bishop urged Christians to pray frequently just as “you drink water and eat food each day because prayer is the pillar of success behind everyone’s life”.
He said prayer was the most effective way to communicate with God; it also creates the opportunity for Christians to know and understand God; and “therefore it is only appropriate in obedience, to the call on the father in Heaven”.
