Sunyani Feb. 27, GNA - The Police at Nkoranza in the Bono East Region have arrested three workers of the Saint Theresa’s Catholic Hospital, Nkoranza for allegedly stealing an amount of Gh¢1,705.00 and other valuable documents belonging to the Hospital.
Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer told the Ghana News Agency in Sunyani.
He said the suspects whose names were only mentioned as Sadik, Saudi and Gabriel had been detained to assist the Police in their investigations.
Chief Inspector Oppong said on Monday, February 25, at about 0930 hours, Mr. Francis Tawiah, the Administrator of the Hospital and two other staff reported the incident to the Police that they detected on arrival at work that thieves had broken through a ceiling to enter five offices of the Hospital.
He said the Police went to the scene to take pictures and afterwards arrested the three suspects who are all cleaners to assist Police in their investigations.
