Accra, Feb. 13, GNA – Dr Peter Carlos Okantey, the Founder and President of Palm Institute has advised Ghanaian students to pursue professional education to meet the job market.
He said there was the need for the upcoming generations to avail themselves with job oriented education such as business administration, computerised accounting, banking technology and accounting, agribusiness and finance and procurement to facilitate the development of the country.
Dr Okantey gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency when the institute opened admission for the 2019/20 academic year at the Shai Hills in the Greater Accra Region.
He said the Institute had accreditation and was affiliated to the National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations Ghana, and had successfully graduated 72 students since its operations five years ago.
The Institute awards Diploma Certificates to regular and mature students after a successful two-year programme.
“The institute is changing lives and raising ethical and excellent leaders and therefore the youth should take advantage to enrol for a better future,” the founder said.
