Kumasi, Jan. 3, GNA – The Reverend Samuel Kwasi Frimpong, the Oforikrom District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has said there is the need for Ghanaians to invite God into whatever they do to ensure the spontaneous growth and development of the nation.
He said “the president and his cabinet, parliamentarians, politicians, traditional rulers, security agencies as well as civil servants needed the face of the Almighty God to save the country.
“We need the presence of God, there is nothing that we cannot do when the face of God is with us, according to Matthew 28:20, Lord Jesus Christ has assured us that I am with you till the end of the world, and that promise stands for all Christians”, he said.
Highlighting on his New Year message to the congregation at Oforikrom in the Kumasi metropolis, he said as 2019 begins, Ghanaians should be wary of things that could hinder their submission to worship God.
Rev Frimpong said the presence of God was the pillar that led the people of Israel in the wilderness adding “if we as Ghanaians could surrender and invite Almighty’s presence, we are going to be successful.
He said as the Presbyterian Church Ghana has themed 2019 “the Presence of the Almighty”, the church was going to salvage unbelievers and draw them closer to the Word of God.
The Reverend Minister said if Ghanaians wanted to be successful in their marriages, businesses and any other aspect of life, there was the need to be holy and adapt to ways of the Lord.
He urged all Ghanaians to be at peace and live in harmony with one another.
