Accra, Jan. 3, GNA - Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, the Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold Sporting Club, has vowed to expose the loopholes in the Kotoko team, as they battle for the maiden edition of the J.A Kufour Cup on Sunday.
The match, slated for the Baba Yara Sports would see the two heavyweights lock horns as part of celebrations to mark the 80th birthday of the former President, John Agyekum Kufuor, as well as raise funds for the various developments under the JAK foundation
Ahead of the match, Dr. Frimpong popularly known in the football circles as ''Champion'', has taken a swipe at his counterparts, as he believes they are not that good as perceived by many.
“We would demonstrate to Ghanaians classic soccer on Sunday and I urge all Ghanaians to come witness beautiful and classic football on display,'' Champion said
He added, ''Kotoko fans know they don't have a good team and we are going to expose the loopholes in their team and hopefully they would wont sack their coach this time round.''
Dr Frimpong also called for firm and fair officiating on the match day, as he believes they can take the trophy to Obuasi.
In attendance of Sunday's match would be the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, former President Kufour and many other top public figures, all to grace the occasion.
