Accra, Dec. 11, GNA - Advans Savings and Loans Ghana has rewarded more than 50 clients, with its staff, for their contributions towards growing the Company over the past decade.
The loyalty packages were presented at a dinner attended by more than 650 clients and staff, to climax the 10th Anniversary celebration.
Advans Ghana serves more than 55,000 clients across the country, with over 125,000 loans totalling more than GHC600 million disbursed.
Addressing the diners, the acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Francis Owiredu expressed his appreciation to the clients and partners for their laudable support.
He also thanked the staff for their dedication and hard work, which he said had contributed to making Advans Savings and Loans a robust and trusted banking partner in Ghana.
“We started this journey in 2008 with less than 30 staff, today, we have one of the largest branch networks in the Savings and Loans industry in Ghana with 19 of them across seven regions, providing direct employment to over 620 individuals,” said Mr Owiredu.
“We owe our successes to you, our loyal clients and dedicated staff, because you believed in us and have stayed with us all these years.”
Mr Ben Berko, the Board Chairman of Advans Savings and Loans, also congratulated the staff and Management of Advans for remaining focused and steadfast over the past years and providing tailor-made financial products and services to support the growth of SMEs in Ghana.
“Advans Ghana will continue to build on its existing niche markets, while leveraging on the international expertise of the Advans Group to develop and help our target clients to develop in new markets and sectors in Ghana”.
For his part, the Chief of Sales of the Advans Group, Mr. Olivier Bailly-Béchet, said the institution would continue to innovate in the coming years with growth and expansion, in terms of technological infrastructure, branch network, products and service offerings with help of their parent group.
Advans Ghana was licensed by the Central Bank of Ghana in October 2008. The shareholders are Advans SA, IFC, Kfw and Societe General, Ghana.
It provides micro and SME loans and offers several current, savings and investment accounts for both individuals and MSMEs. The Company aims to become the leading MSME financial service provider and the preferred financial partner for MSMEs in Ghana.
Its vision is to build a model group of microfinance institutions in Africa.
