Accra, No.28, GNA - Obeng Francis Kumi known in showbiz as “O’Bkay” joined the Graduate School of University of Proffesional Studies (UPSA), as they embarked on a health walk, at Obuoman, a deprived suburb in the Ga West Municipal, Greater Accra Region.
This initiative by the Graduate School of UPSA, saw a donation made to the Obuoman M/A School, as students were educated on HIVAIDS and other health issues.
The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards “Unsung” nominee, in an interview with GNA, was delighted with the initiative and was amazed about the living of some Ghanaians, which according to him was very appalling.
"Impacting the lives of the younger generation through my music has always been my goal and getting the chance to interact with this students makes me very delighted to be
part of the trip.
"Their way of living is very poor due to how the lack basic social amenities and I plead with the government to give a helping hand to the community especially the students," he told GNA Entertainment.
Items donated to the school included food items, school uniforms and stationary.
O'Bkay recently released his new single titled ''Di'' and has gained massive play on the airwaves.
