Abidjan, Aug 07 (AIP) - President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara, in his address to the Nation on Monday, on the eve of Independence Day, pledged to continue in the dynamics of the quest for independence. Development and improvement of the living conditions of the Ivorian populations.
"I pledge to stay the course," he said before announcing in particular for early September a strengthening of the social aspect of the action of the Government.
President Ouattara said he wanted to respond to an increasingly pressing concern of his compatriots.
"I will always be at your disposal to continue improving your living conditions in order to consolidate our momentum for future generations in particular. We will continue unabatedly to promote good governance and intensify the fight against corruption, "he promised in his speech broadcast on national television, RTI1.
