Koforidua, June 21, GNA - Christian men have been urged to invest and have time for God’s work and God would also take care of their business and make them successful businessmen.
Very Reverend (Rev.) Joseph Kojo Galley, Superintendent Minister of Effiduase Circuit of the Methodist Church near Koforidua, explained that one of the agreement that God made with man was that he would take care of their business if they took care of his (God’s) work.
He added that so far God had honoured that promise over years in his relationship with man.
Very Rev. Galley gave the advised at a one week revival service organized by the Adweso Calvary Methodist Church towards the organization of men’s harvest celebration in the Church.
He said many men spent hours at beer bars drinking and indulged in other vices at other entertainment centres without any complaint, yet the same people came to Church and exected the services to be over by midday.
Anytime the Church service prolonged, they started looking at their watches and begun exhibiting distressing signs, he added.
Very Rev. Galley urged Christian business men to trust the teachings of their faith and they would always succeed in their private businesses.
