Accra, May 28, GNA - Dr Zhgeng Kelvin Gouji, the Chief Executive Officer of Norland International, producers of food supplements, has called on Ghanaians to go for regular medical screening to know their health status.
He said diseases detected early could be treated and cured without any complications, which also reduced cost.
Dr Gouji made the call at the first anniversary celebration of Norland Ghana in Accra on Saturday.
He urged Ghanaians to patronise food supplements while they ate balanced diet to stay healthy.
The Chief Executive Officer said this would help improve upon one’s immune system to fight diseases.
He said the company, established in Ghana last year, had presented 11 cars as prizes to distributors who had excelled in the promotion of the company’s products.
Dr Gouji stressed the need for Ghanaians to take physical exercising seriously and relax to stay healthy at all times.
Mr Samuel Nuamah Donkor, a former Minister of Health, commended the company for its contribution towards the health and well-being of the people.
He praised the company for providing jobs for Ghanaians and urged it to work hard to engage more of the youth.
