Ashaiman, April 3, GNA - Congregants of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CAC) in the Ashaiman area, on Good Friday, held church service at the Nii Amoi Park to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Church members who were in a solemn mood, prayed, sang and danced to thank God for sacrificing his son Jesus Christ to save mankind.
Apostle David Okyere Hagan, Ashaiman Area Apostle of CAC, preached on the theme: "Pressing for the prize of the higher calling".
Apostle Hagan in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, urged all Christians to emulate Christ's life by sharing some love to others even as they remember his death and resurrection.
He also urged the youth to comport themselves and eschew themselves from acts that could have negative consequences on society and themselves..
He advised the public especially, Christians, to be cautious and take their security seriously in order not to fall prey to robbers.
Apostle Hagan further entreated Ghanaians to cherish the peace in the country and desist from dividing the country on partisan lines as that could rob the nation of its very existence.
