He noted that most heart diseases such as hypertension was as a result of self imposed pressure, and asked the populace emulate Christ for the love he exhibited by dying on the cross to purge away our sins, adding that, “let us try and forgive each other as Christ forgave us so we can live a healthy life”.
Rev. Fr. Amo said this in his homily on the theme: ''He must Rise from the Dead'', from the gospel of John to mark the resurrection of Christ.
He admonished Christians not to focus on the challenges of life,
but rather, have faith in God and that there was hope and an open door in every difficult situation.
Rev. Fr Amo also urged the congregation to give honour to those honour was due no matter the level of wealth or power one possessed.
The congregation was adorned in white attire to symbolise victory and the resurrection of the Saviour
About 20 children received the Holy Communion amidst joy.
