The DCE made the call when he addressed a festival of nine Lessons and Carols at Gomoa Aboso, in the Gomoa East District of the Central region.
It was organized by the Gomoa East District Assembly and Centre for National Culture (CNC) in collaboration with the Local Council of Christian Churches in the Gomoa Aboso, Benso, Ekroful and Akropong area.

The DCE said without peace and unity there would be no development, adding that government had laid solid foundation that will facilitate creation of jobs and wealth.
He said the government was poised to put in place more pragmatic policies and programmes that would improve the welfare of all Ghanaians.
The DCE said that Gomoa East Assembly will do its best to create enabling environment for both local and foreign investors to come to the District.
Mr Otoo advised the Christians to live life worthy of emulations and desist from acts of hatred, gossip and rancour.
He stated that as the world prepared to usher in Christmas, which was symbolized with the birth of Christ, it should serve as a hallmark for people to be generous towards the poor and needy in the society.
The DCE disclosed that the Carols night was first started in United Kingdom (UK) in the 19th century, after the first and second World Wars when the World was struggling to seek for peace and unity.
