Accra, Oct. 12, GNA - The video of the popular hit gospel song, “oh oh oh oh Meyi W’aye”, as originally composed by the Levite, Enoch Fletcher Narh, has been launched in Accra.
‘Meyi W’aye’, which translates as “I will praise you” released in 2003, has been endorsed by many churches who are using it in their worship.
The official video, shot in Ghana and Nigeria by the Enoch Fletcher Narh- Ministries- United States of America, was done in collaboration with Damilare Emmanuel Film and Talent Dome Records.
The song is a soul-touching piece that engrosses a listener into a reflecting mood, thereby agreeing with the prolific song writer that people who go through pains and other challenges should put their trust in God.
Premiering the Video, the talented musician told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that, “Meyi W’aye” came in for people to know that, no matter what would happen to them, in any situation, God must be seen as the ultimate”.
Recounting his some of his ordeals, the Pastor said he did not allow the pains to deter him from worshipping God.
Therefore, he composed the song to thank God and motivate others not to stop worshipping Him under any circumstance.
Pastor Fletcher Narh said it was unfortunate that many patrons of his song, including some churches and musicians, did not him as the owner.
He said the song, however, had lost its originality because most musicians had taken over as owners, remixing it to suit their styles and taste.
The launch brought together several gospel artistes, including, Superintendent of Police Kofi Sarpong, Diana Hopeson and Mary Ghansah, who performed to the admiration of the audience.
Pastor Fletcher Narh has more than 45 songs to his credit, with some of hits being “Woni Ma’di Nyinaa, (You Are My All In All), “I command my hands to praise the Lord,” “Jesus be too much,” “Revival of Worship in America” and My daddy.”
