Accra, Sept. 22, GNA - Samuel Sarfo, central defender of the Black Stars B has promised that his side will leave no stone unturned as they face their arch rivals, Nigeria in the grand final of the 2017 Fox WAFU Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars won 2-0 against Niger on Thursday to make it to their second consecutive finals of the tournament, whilst Nigeria also edged out Benin 1-0.
In an interview with the press at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday, Sarfo expressed delight in the Black Stars performance so far and pledged a revenge against Nigeria come Sunday.
“I am so happy with our performance so far as a team, I must commend the defence for keeping clean sheets in four games. We hope that we keep that composure in the finals on Sunday so that we can put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians.
"We need to go all out against Nigeria, we cannot accept anything aside victory. The players are ever ready for the game, there is no room for complacency," Sarfo said.
Sarfo, who is the Captain of Liberty Professionals, said he was delighted to have partnered Vincent Atinga, who had proven to be one of the best central defenders in the tournament.
" I have enjoyed our partnership so far and hope we get a good game on Sunday.
