Mr Julio Meridorios told the Abeka District Court hearing the case that “we have realised that we have a strong case” and so there was no need for calling another witness.
He therefore prayed the court presided over Victoria Ghansah to furnish them with the court proceedings.
The court reminded the defence counsel that they have 14 days to file their address.
The case was adjourned to July 3.
The accused, Jihad Chaaban who is a supervisor of the restaurant was accused of allegedly dipping the face of one Evelyn Boakye, a worker into a blender full of blended pepper.
He was charged with assault, offensive conduct and causing harm, but the accused has denied the charges and maintained that he was innocent.
